A helicopter, bulldozers and volunteer firefighters battled a brush fire Wednesday between Robstown and Corpus Christi that burned about 15 to 20 acres. A fire broke out around 6 p.m. Monday evening in an area bordered by Old Brownsville Road and Saratoga Blvd. Firefighters were still out there around 8 p.m. putting out hot spots. Also, at times, firefighters ran out of water while fighting the flames.
