Craig Biggio’s number was retired today. I think I like baseball best of all the sports for two reasons; first is I never played it and second, most folks won’t sit and watch it with me. It requires long periods of not talking and even longer periods of not stating the obvious such as football or basketball. My buddy calls baseball nothing more than “golf with defense” and has declared it the most useless sport of all time. Although I challenge that he has never had to sit through a cricket match, I say ‘fine, more $7.00 beer for me’.

This is simply amazing….
No Smoke, Smoke Grenades, and Casino MI’s
It wasn’t intended to be a new years resolution, it just turned out that way. After 18 years of smoking a pack a day, I have gone 18 days without a cigarette. It would have been more, but my nephew just received his learners permit, and I allowed him to ‘learn’ in the beater truck I just bought about 20 days ago, so I had a little moment there. So, if you scratch that day, and add the 13 days I went before what Ashton and I will refer to only as “The Ketchup Incident”, that is 31 days with only one cigarette.
