Tax time is right around the corner, and as such we are all preparing to spend our big-ass returns; right? Yeah, I have to pay this year (also). Not as much as Fookie (I Win Again!), but still, I hate paying the government when they have proven to be such mischievous spenders. And to think, Republicans would have me believe that it is my sandal wearin’ hippie freak Demo friends that are taking all my hard earned greenbacks to give to the poor. It’s probably Hillary’s fault, or that Obama Bin Laden dude.
This is not, repeat not, a political post, simply another in the long line of ‘hey check this out’. So, check this out !

Goodbye 2007, you kinda sucked…..
I am very glad that 2007 is coming to an end. Even though that puts me one year closer to death, 2007 was enough of a doozy year to make me at least curiously wonder if death might not be less harsh. Each of us will have a few years in there that aren’t so great. Sometimes there are years that we did things to ourselves, sometimes ‘they’ did things to us, sometimes we just continuously find ourselves in the wrong place at the wrong time. For me, 2007 was chock full of all of that and then some. The year started out just plain crappy, then went to a really bland place, and then ended on a frenzied high that has left me tired but optimistic.

Garbage Disposal, 975, Big Flickr Bling
My garbage disposal blew up. It made that hanging ‘fixin to burst into flame’ noise. Being a new home owner, I tried to fix it myself. In searching out some diagnostic assistance on the web, I came across eHow.com. It is one of those sites you can get lost in. Any site that has paint ball tactics and dishwasher repair in the same place is nifty by me !
