H i s t o r y

This site was created by a single individual in 1999 and called ‘CenTexFIRE.com‘ with the initial goal of learning a little about web design and possibly creating an online community of interested parties. Many different versions of that site have existed since that time, and in October of 2006, ‘Texas-Fire.com’ was released, joining Central Texas to 10 other regions throughout the State.

Take a moment to look through our group which contains over 1,500 photographs from around the State. After looking through the pictures, share some of yours with us! Best of all, it is F R E E !
  • CONVERSATION – The site also contains a large message board with over 700 members of the fire and EMS community from around the United States. The majority of the message board users are from Texas, but we do have several visitors from outside of the Lone Star State.
