Killeen family returns from church to house on fire

A Killeen family returned home from church Sunday afternoon to find their house engulfed in flames. Officials say the fire at 305 Cloud St. started around 12:15 p.m. while the residents – a mother and three children – were at church.

Crews were able to put out the flames quickly, but the fire heavily damaged the back of the house. An investigator says he doesn’t know how the fire broke out and the department won’t likely be able to determine the cause even after a complete investigation.
