Central Texas fire departments team up for training

Several Central Texas fire departments will train together on a live fire Wednesday. The fire departments in Pflugerville, Austin, Round Rock and Hutto will participate. They’ll meet at the Pflugerville training field to review strategy and tactics, resource deployment, communications, teamwork and efficient fire line safety.

Fire officials also want to remind residents to prepare landscaping and homes to fight off possible fires.
