Arson investigators look into the cause of an overnight fire. Flames and thick smoke could be seen shooting from a home at the corner of Tyler Avenue and Blevins Street, near Del Mar College, around 3:30AM Friday.

The house is vacant and firefighters say no one was hurt battling the flames.
It took crews about 15 minutes to put out the fire that gutted the home.

A-E-P was called to the scene to shut off live wires that were found in the backyard. Crews aren’t sure if that’s what caused the fire.
