Abilene Police Officer Killed

Yesterday, at about 11:50 a.m., Motorcycle Officer Rodney Holder was attempting to make a traffic stop while northbound on Sayles. A southbound vehicle, attempting a left turn onto South 13th, collided with Rodney’s motorcycle. Officer Holder received fatal injuries from the collision. He was 50 years old.
