From The Amarillo Globe-News
An electrical malfunction started a fire Friday afternoon that destroyed a storage building at 303 S. Houston St. No one was inside the building when the fire started about 5 p.m., said District Chief Jim Henson of the Amarillo Fire Department. Fourteen firefighters worked to get the fire under control by 6 p.m.

Firefighters were hindered by a large amount of material that blocked access into the building, Henson said. The fire caused an estimated $6,000 in damages.
