Morehead Middle School students were evacuated Monday after a fire started in the gymnasium, a fire spokesman said. The fire was reported just after 11 a.m. at Morehead Middle School, 5625 Confetti. Apparently clothes in a dryer in the locker room caught on fire, said Lt. Mario Hernandez, a fire spokes-man.

School officials evacuated students before firefighters arrived, he said. No injuries were reported.

This is the third fire at a school in a week, Hernandez said. The other two fires occurred at Del Valle High School and Chapin High Schools. Two juveniles were charged with criminal mischief in the two high school fires.
