Tyler Home Heavily Damaged In Pre-Dawn Fire

A Tyler home suffered extensive damage following an early morning fire. Capt. David Admire of the Tyler Fire Department said firefighters responded to a 911 call about 3:45 a.m. today at 938 Duckenfield Ave on a structure fire.

Admire said firefighters attempted an interior attack but due to heavy fire and smoke they were forced out of the home to conduct an exterior attack. He said investigators believe the fire was caused by an overloaded electrical circuit.

There were no injuries.
