San Antonio arson detectives are investigating two fires that damaged homes late Monday night and early Tuesday morning. No one was injured in either incident, officials said. Fire crews first fought a blaze at a Southwest Side home, in the 5000 block of War Horse Drive around 8 p.m. Monday. The fire, which erupted in a bedroom, caused an estimated $30,000 in damages, and officials aren’t sure exactly what caused the fire.

Around midnight, firefighters were called to a Northwest Side home at Dickinson and Cromwell drives. Up to 11 units responded to the fire, and arson detectives remained at the scene around 7 a.m. to determine how the fire started.
