Wounded man found near downtown fire station

Police are trying to figure out who shot a man who was found near a downtown fire station on Thursday. Around 2:45 a.m. two men spotted a person lying near the intersection of Bowie and Bonham. They soon discovered that the man, said to be in his 40s, was shot twice in the chest.

Firefighters at nearby fire station Number 1 quickly responded to the emergency. So far there are no suspects in this shooting or motive. That victim is in critical condition.
