Austin firefighters knocked down two early morning fires Friday morning in North Austin.
The first fire in North Austin Friday morning was just after 5 a.m. north of Braker Lane along the I-35 frontage road. The first fire broke out at Triple A Limo just after 5 a.m. north of Braker Lane along the I-35 frontage road. It caused extensive damage to the warehouse and blocked off access to the frontage road.

Firefighters were able to extinguish the morning blaze quickly, and no injuries were reported. The cause of this fire is under investigation.

About an hour later, fire crews moved down the street to the Beauty Mart off of Rundberg Lane, where a fire started just before 6:30 a.m. Officials said when they arrived on scene, the front of the Beauty Mart was on fire.

Austin firefighters had it extinguished within minutes and said they believed it started on the outside of the building. The heat from the flames cracked the front door, allowing some of the fire to go inside the business.

Firefighters said they believe the majority of damage will be smoke-related and that the business is not a total loss. No injuries were reported in the blaze.
