Car wash in NW Harris Co. goes up in flames

Print This Post | Email This Post

Firefighters put out a massive fire at a car wash overnight in northwest Harris County.
It happened around 2am at the Doctor Gleem car wash on FM 1960 near TC Jester. Firefighters found heavy flames when they arrived, so they pulled a second alarm and went defensive mode. It took crews from four fire departments to put out the flames, but the building is a total loss.

The car wash was closed for the night. There’s no word yet on what started the fire.
