Fire in Lake Travis

Firefighters on Tuesday morning quickly contained a fire in a single-family home in the 700 block of Cutlass St. Firefighters responding to an alarm at 9:50 a.m. found no one home and smoke in the building, Lake Travis Fire Rescue Assistant Fire Chief Robert Abbott said.

Abbott said the electrical fire did less than $50,000 damage to the home.
