Fire sprinklers doused a fire early Sunday at a business west of Longview. No injuries were reported. An assistant fire marshal said a printing press was damaged.

“We’re talking about hundreds and hundreds of thousands of dollars,” Longview Assistant Fire Marshal Joey Cowan said of the press. “They didn’t even guess an amount.”

Cowan said workers were at the site, 800 Jordan Valley Road, when firefighters responded to the 6:09 a.m. call. Two businesses are listed at that address: Milprint and Bemis Flexible Packaging. The cause of the fire was unknown.
