Fire starter blamed for 25 San Antonio blazes

Investigators in San Antonio are seeking a serial arsonist blamed for at least 25 fires since January. Police on Wednesday put the damage estimate at about $200,000. No injuries were reported at the time of the the structural fires.

A statement from police says the person believed responsible for the fires has burns on his left arm and the left side of his neck. The time frame for the fires, on San Antonio’s south side, was Jan. 3 through May 10.

San Antonio Crime Stoppers is offering a reward of up to $5,000 for any information leading to the arrest of 1 or more suspects.
