A Rockdale home was damaged by fire twice over the weekend. The first fire was reported at 4:30 a.m. Saturday. No one was home at the time of the fire which was believed to have originated in a transformer in front of the house. The fire spread to the porch, then on to the main structure of the house.

Firefighters were called back to the same house around 8:30 Sunday morning when the fire rekindled. There is no word on the amount of damage the home suffered.
