Firefighters recovered a body from a canal Wednesday afternoon, fire dispatchers said.
Ten fire units were called to a water rescue in a canal at the intersection of Palm and Piedras about 12:26 p.m.

Investigators are waiting for an autopsy to determine how the person died.
