HFD crews battle fire at Pappas B-B-Q

A Pappas B-B-Q restaurant caught fire Friday night at Highway 290 and Hollister. When HFD crews arrived around 10 p.m., they found smoke and small flames coming from the top of the building. They evacuated the restaurant and made a fast attack.

Crews were able to extinguish the fire before it inflicted a lot of damage to the inside of the building. The outside, however, sustained a substantial amount of damage, officials said.
No one was injured.
