Fire destroys mobile home; no injuries reported

A fire destroyed a mobile home at 7801 W. McCormick Road Thursday evening and filled the sky with thick clouds of black smoke. The Canyon Volunteer Fire Department was called at 6:10 p.m. to the home in Old West Trailer Park.
