Man pinned under rock in Grapevine

A man was pinned under rocks near Silver Lake Marina and the dam, a Grapevine Fire Department official said. The fire department responded to the incident at about 4:30 p.m. Sunday and found a man who had his legs pinned. The fire department used air bags, pry bars and hydraulic tools to remove the smaller rocks and free the man, who is in his 20s. A woman in her 30s may have received ankle injuries, the fire department said.

Both were flown to Parkland Memorial Hospital. Their conditions were not immediately known.
