Crews remained on the scene through the night to monitor hot spots after battling a massive grassfire that spread rapidly over 250 to 300 acres Tuesday just outside of Copperas Cove in Coryell County.

Construction worker injured after fall at Marsha Sharp site

Firefighter Injured Battling House Fire

A firefighter was injured battling a house fire in northeast Houston late Sunday, KPRC Local 2 reported.
Aldine-Westfield and Eastex firefighters responded to the blaze at a home on Huse Street near Sachar Street at about 11:30 p.m.
Crews found the garage engulfed in flames, which were spreading to the home and a car.
